Sunday Morning Bible Study, 8:30 am
1 Peter is a call to be confident and trust God's faithfulness. We can be fully assured that Christianity is where God’s grace is found, and therefore not leave the faith. Sometimes we doubt these facts and promises that God has given us.
Sometimes we doubt during times of suffering. Peter describes the “fiery trials” we often encounter in life. Peter states we are called to “do good and suffer.” What does that mean? What can we learn from considering how Jesus suffered on earth? What are the benefits of suffering? 1 Peter helps us understand that the presence of suffering does not mean that we are outside of God’s grace.
